Hi! I’m Brittany Druker—the owner + baker of The Weekly Mac!
In 2017, I treated myself to a 3 day “baking enthusiast” course at the French Pastry School. Macarons were amongst the assortment of petits-fours we learned to bake, and I couldn’t wait to bake them again at home!
As an Advertising Art Director and Francophile, I realized the creative side project of my dreams had just landed in my lap. I challenged myself to bake 52 different flavors of macarons (one batch per week) over the course of a year.
Throughout that year, I experimented my way through a range of different flavors (some good, some GREAT, a couple I’d like to forget) and posted it all on Instagram @theweeklymac.
By the time I had gotten to flavor 52, I had such a high demand to sell my macs that I turned The Weekly Mac into a successful, little side business—sticking to my model of one flavor per week.
In 2025, I decided to go all in! I had quit my job in advertising and felt like the universe was only going to give me so many chances to make The Weekly Mac happen. So…here we go!!!!!
As the world feels like it’s getting crazier by the day, I hope my macarons can bring a little bit of happiness to each of you!
